Microstop Piloted Countersinks

Microstop piloted countersinks when used with a microstop cage can be adjusted to the required depth in increments of 0.001”. Widely used within the aerospace industry to aid the huge task of countersinking the millions of holes to produce an aircraft. These tools come with standard corner radius’ to form a precise rounded edge between the countersink angle and the pre-drilled hole. The standard corner radius’ have been chosen to suit common aircraft rivets. However, our specialist machinery enables us to produce any angle and corner radius to suit more bespoke applications. We supply these with metric or imperial threads to suit all common microstop cages. See page 11 and 12 of our catalogue for more information

Supplied in 90º, 100º and 120º as standard with other angles such as 82º available on request with little increase in price and lead time.

A large range of pilots are available to suit all of our cutters. They are finish ground to order so just tell us the pilot size required and the cutter it needs to fit in to and we can supply.
